I’m leaving this review for the corporate office because the local management at the SmartStop facility on 1597 Market Street in Concord, CA is a complete disaster. Corporate needs to stop ignoring what’s happening at this site 1) The facility manager Raina is openly hostile, and they’ve repeatedly violated ADA accessibility standards. 2) The property is falling apart—the gates are constantly broken, creating major entrapment issues for tenants. 3) There’s a pest infestation they refuse to handle, and the dumpster sitting ou... read more
This is not a good storage i had reservations at the forestville location I told the Washington Dc location so I had to cancel and make reservations at the one in Dc then had to pay again they said they were going to refund my money im still waiting and when I call cooperate they wont help this storage is trash
Smartstop Storage lures you in with a low a monthly introductory rate, then soon after starts hiking the rates. They do not offer pro rating when you move out. Stay away from this company to save your money and less stress. They ripped me off over $500. Their storage professionals are no help. Mark Blake the district manager responded "Operator does not prorate Rent; only full months’ prepaid Rent shall be returned to Occupant within thirty (30) days of vacating the Storage Space".
