Shady business dealings! I was assigned to SmartPool LLC from my home owners warranty company Choice Home Warranty. The tech arrived and informed me the main control panel needs replaced and the actuator. He stated that CHW covered the actuator at $250 but "like he told me, the control panel is not covered and with labor we owe $1,350". I called CHW because after reviewing my contract/policy there is nothing stating they won't cover the panel. Defective pool cleaner caddy, broke after one use, tried to contact Smartpools at the number on the warranty card and it's out of service, same number listed here. I am stuck with a pool cleaner caddy that is defective, after a few weeks and can't get my warranty honoured. I hope this company is out of business, if they aren't, they should be.
Less than one star. Have defective smartpool solar panel bought less than two years ago. Split at the seam. Contacted vender who sold via ****** and they gave me a phone number. Called the manufacture number, disconnected. I know it's under warranty but I can't get a hold of anyone. Never buy from this company again. No commitment to customers. "
Purchased brand new robotic cleaner. Worked for exactly 40 days. The company refuses to refund my money OR repair!!! They gave me a credit for a cover or heater which I already have! Have called and emailed several times. I will NEVER buy anything from this company!!! Now I have a $500 paperweight!!!

Our manufacturer of the cleaners in China is no longer manufacturing cleaners or parts for us. As a result, we have no ability to fix or replace cleaners. We provided our customer with a credit toward our other products. We do not refund money, because we do not sell directly to consumers. A refund would have to be obtained at the place of purchase.
NO stars. Received a reconditioned unit to replace one that failed completely after only two seasons of use. Had to pay $300 for the reconditioned unit and over $40. shipping to return old unit for "warranty" repair. The current reconditioned unit has failed to operate properly, and it is only early July (we don't open the pool until the end of May.) Tried to call for warranty service: automated message said all warranty claims must be filed through website. Tried to get to website: there are none for Smart Pool !
Nice looking product bu not reliable, only lasts for one or two seasons then something always goes wrong with it usually on the electrical end of the unit. I have to call them again and go for a 4th replacement I really don't know if it's worth keeping or find a reliable one
I have used their pool robot cleaners since 2012. They are one of the most economical robots in the market and gives about 2 yrs of use. These run every day, stay out in chlorine water with lots of UV exposure so I wouldn't expect these pumps to last any longer. I had owned other brands that also lasted about same time but coated almost 2x. Apart from this I was always impressed with Smartpools customer service. I have purchased 2 robotic cleaners from this company. I need to order a 50' cord and they will not sell it to me. So I now have to go out a buy a brand new cleaner. NOT FROM HERE!

This customer purchased her pool cleaner on 04/01/15 a PT9IS..her pool cleaner had a 3 year limited warranty and she was out of warranty when she contacted us. She wanted to purchase a cord for her cleaner and unfortunately we are not selling parts. It was explained to this customer that all parts were being kept for the service/repair on cleaners that were within warranty only.
I bought a robotic pool cleaner from them with a warranty. It stopped working in 3 months. I sent it in for the warranty and they sent me back a dirty, old, used model that they dont currently sell. I expected with a warranty that they either fix my machine or send me back the same model not a model that is several years old. It was filthy dirty. They had the poorest customer service ever.
