Our remodeling experience was great overall. We are pleased with our project and it has truly enhanced our home. Responsiveness was always quick by Miguel and Keith. No matter how many concerns or questions we had, they were right there. Nothing is perfect though. We recently engaged the team at Smarter Remodeling to complete a renovation of a garage apartment in preparation for my mother moving in. We had a tight timeline and were very pleased that the project was completed quickly and to our satisfaction. All of the tradesmen we encountered were talented, friendly and professional. I do not recommend this company. I may have given Smarter Remodeling 5 stars had they completed my project. The cost was more expensive, as admitted by their salesperson, compared to other companies. I was willing to pay more if it meant less headache and higher quality. I am a Former Marine and retired Naval Officer who takes care of his elderly parents. We tried working with a different company first to build a small in-law suite. The first company was very slow, so we tried Smarter Remodeling. They were very responsive and professionally met all our expectations through the end. They kept the whole process running smoothly and we are very happy with the final build.
