Unreliable and support workers never show up or on their phone. Organisation understaff- can’t retain workers. My support workers complain about Michelle a lot. Many good support workers I use to have, left smarter connections because unhappy, Michelle and burnt out. Michelle not nice and grumpy. Worst organisation ever. The positives you hear are not true, disability client experience quite negative. Never realised how bad they were until, I left and got treated much better at the other organisation.
Smarter Connections have been amazing for support work/cleaning services for my NDIS participants and they always go above and beyond. As a Support Coordinator I always mention them in a recommendations list to my participants in Melbourne's north. Each support worker that I have come across provides a personable and friendly service and the admin team are extremely efficient.
