Had a service issue with our system this week. Smartcom customer service was very professional and courteous and Sarah routed our technician so he could arrive first thing to deal with an error code. Simon showed up on time, very friendly, super professional and worked through his tests to find and resolve our issue within about twenty minutes top. Good company. Great people! Free Battery replacement and repair at no charge since it was covered under our service contract. Thank you!
This newly constructed home was built by Stanley Martin, but the workmanship appears to be very poor. It feels as though they hired the cheapest contractors available. The wiring, in particular, was done badly. Verizon spent months troubleshooting the issue and ultimately determined that the RJ45 wiring was losing signal. This suggests that defective or low-quality wiring may have been used, or that the wiring was not properly installed or tested. Bought a new construction home in Nova that was wired by Smartcom. Called them to start up my services and honestly it was very easy and everyone I interacted with was very pleasant to talk to. The tech who visited my home was also very professional and courteous.
