Excellent care for my cervical injections from the entire staff at Smartcare Palm Harbor. The check in was easy and efficient. The nursing staff and anesthesiologist taking care of me pre and post surgery were absolutely amazing. Dr. Zahrai is an incredible surgeon. I will be going back for two more procedures. He is caring and wants to find the best treatment to fix my neck issues. . I highly recommend Dr. Zahrai and the team at Smartcare.
Being given a time to be at a surgical center, arriving on time and waiting at this point almost 2 hrs in the lobby, before even going up is extremely poor scheduling on this surgical site. Then once I get upstairs exactly how long will that be? Hopefully they are more efficient at their job than the facility scheduler! After upstairs everything went alot better. Our biggest concern was the post-operative care. My family member had a mild adverse reaction to anesthesia—she became cold, pale, clammy, and lightly sweating, with a drop in blood pressure. Her medical records note a history of anesthesia-related issues tied to potassium levels. At home, when her potassium levels drop, she recovers with protein and Gatorade.
