Columbus office closed. They didn't notify me. Now I want to get my belongings out of storage and they can't deliver my box to me. I will have to hire a truck and movers to get my belongings. And the Columbus location is only open M-F 9a - 5p, so I will have to take a day off work to do it. A little notice that the location was going to close and we could have avoided all of this. It is impossible to reach you over the phone. Callback fails after first ring. And I got a late fee when I’m on autopay. How/why/what???
Terrible customer service. At loading location: delivered on wrong date, placed in wrong place, picked up on wrong date. At unloading location: delivered wrong date, empty box. Both phone calls were not empathetic and promised communication from the local office. Still haven’t heard from the local office and no communication regarding refunds. Will never recommend this service to anyone.
Renting and delivery of my smart boxes was seamless which is why I’m giving Smartbox two stars instead of one, however the pick up of my smart boxes was an absolute nightmare. My smart boxes were to be picked up on a Wednesday. My husband arrived home Wednesday evening and the smart boxes were still in my driveway. After trying to call the office Wednesday evening to get an explanation, I was told I would have to wait until the next day to call the local office.
