Rick went above and beyond to identify and solve the issues with our van and answer every question. I can't say enough great things. We loved the service and we love our van!

We are extremely pleased with the work performed by Rick and Suzanne Jacobs of Smart Upfit on a conversion of our 2022 Mercedes Benz Metris cargo van. We now have a camper van that sleeps four with a sink, stove, heater, table, and swivel seats. They take great pride in providing quality service coupled with excellent communication. We feel very lucky to have found them in Middleton, Wisconsin as there are no other Metris upfitters anywhere close to where we live.
Ordered our van late fall, 2020….got “Ted,” our conversion in late Spring 2023. Initially we were going to take it to one of the west coast upfitters, but very happy we found Smart Upfit in Middleton, WI. Rick and Suzanne were, and are, very interested in our complete satisfaction , before, during and even after the build. Our long delays were mostly Covid related supply chain issues. After having a Pop-Up, Class C, Trailer and 2 Class B’s over the years, we have landed our perfect vehicle. Love that it fits in the garage and is our 2nd vehicle. It has been a pleasure working with Rick and Suzanne. They have gone way above and beyond with their workmanship and service.
