Be sure you ask for documents explaining their late fee terms. I expect 1 late fee after a week of them not receiving payment. But they tacked on over $50 in late fees on my unit before the next billing period even began, and denied me access to my things until it was paid in full. I looked over my signed documents when I rented the unit and nowhere did it mention that’s how they charge late fees.
