Hi All, I travel from Gawler SA to Alice Springs towing a caravan and had a problem with my Ranger, which resulted in no power steering, took it to the Ford place and got told couldn’t look at it this week??? They told me to take it to DJ at Smart Off Road Mechanical. DJ looked at it straight away, reset all faults and gave me some Great advice and didn’t charge me F/All. Great man and Great Service 5 star Rating I would recommend him to EVERYONE REGARDS Collin Morris
Dee Jay is a legend. Having an issue with the car displaying error messages, i rang him and asked if he can help to plug the diagnostic tool to see what's going on, he told me straight away come over and I will check for you. 3 days later, I popped over and reminded him, he straight away brought his tool, plugged it in, straight away he told me what's going on and his recommendations. Dee Jay took on a complex repair of my Prado at short notice where otherwise I had t wait a couple of weeks, including the Toyota dealership. Did a great job and I thought the bill was reasonable. Dee Jay kept me informed throughout the process and I was able to store the vehicle there while I made other arrangements to continue my trip to the Kimberley. Would highly recommend. Also referred me to a trailer repair mob around the corner who were just as helpful. All in all very good memories of Alice Springs.
