Staff is Terrible.I had been seen by him for years and he is great but, I had been in a house fire and was then living in Arkansas and when I called to make the appointment they said they accepted Arkansas Medicaid or I would not have went there most likely you have to pay upfront or give him your insurance when you show up. I spent too many years with Dr Smart (aka not so smart)My health did nothing but decline. He left me undiagnosed for 7 years with a very terrible illness. Did blood test which confirmed it but never bothered to tell me or treat me for it. Within the first month of seeing new provider ( a nurse practitioner) she found the problem with routine blood tests. I have heard many more horror stories that people have died under his care. Doctor Smart has been both helpful and informative in the year he has been my PCP. He has been both attentive and considerate.
I didn't have a primary care physician until recently. I am so glad I chose Dr Smart as my primary care physician. He has been very open and helpful with any concerns/questions I have had. I would highly recommend Dr Smart to anyone!
he was my PCP for a short time. His staff refused to allow me to request a referral or even recommend a specialist type, after workers comp had completed and closed my medical. I will choose a PCP who's office staff is willing to do more than an interrupt and and presume defensively I was demanding care from him .... rude rude rude
