Very poor and unorganised. I used them for one of our solar installs, they were ok but the company is very large and once you get the work done they are poor at any follow up with things you need. Got a quote of them for our new house, their quote came back quite high compared to the local supplier (who had lots of great reviews), but the customer service was absolutely shocking. Extremely poor after-sales service. We contacted Smart Energy regarding issues with a Fronius inverter (installed ~4 years ago) and an AlphaESS battery (installed ~6 months ago). Smart Energy advised there was a Fronius issue and said they would apply a firmware update, but never followed through. Fronius support later resolved this themselves in a matter of minutes. Your door to door sales person came to my house when we weren't home. He banged on our garage door, leaned over over back fence looking around our backyard for a while, then banged on our front door a few times and loitered around on our deck. Extremely intrusive behaviour for a sales person.

This company has the worst after sales service . Nobody wants to get in their car and investigate the problem ! Everything is done from a phone and a computer ! We haven’t had our battery system working a 100% since new ! $20k for the system and it only partially works beware of this business ! They take your money and run ! They never get back to you , they won’t come to site !
