Horrible company for both the technicians that work there and the clients or potential clients. Fired after 11 years of being one of the top techs in my market the day before thanksgiving for allegedly trying to steal customers when i never even remotely approached a smartcare client. Would give 0 stars if I could. I was charged $1200 for a 20 minute visit to look at an oven handle. They quoted me $1500 to replace it. I denied the service, bought the part for $400 and installed it myself in 5 mins. The invoice said they were there for multiple hours, which they were not. And even if they were… $1200?! To not fix it? Avoid this company at all costs.
This company is a joke. We called them because our fryer needed repair. They said $1000 minimum. Disgraceful. Avoid calling this company all together. I have now read many of their reviews. It seems like they are a disgrace in many areas 2.3 RATING. I DONT KNOW IF I EVER SEEN A COMPANY WITH SUCH A LOW RATING
I contacted the company to have a commercial appliance serviced and was sent an email to submit a credit card number for $1000 pre-authorization. My business CC and debit cards had to be replaced due to fraud and bank error (another long story) so I was not in a position to do that. Then they sent an email with a credit application. I got busy and did not get to the credit app and I received a third email asking me if I would like to forgo the formalities for a one time service call without the pre-authorization/credit app. ... read more
