I loved the Smart convertible that I leased several years ago. When the lease was up, I financed a late model BMW convertible and have been paying down the loan. The car is starting to show wear and I've decided to go back to leasing. I had my Smart Car towed there, by a Smart recommended tow company and my wireless headphones went missing. After MANY emails with customer service, I was told that I would be reimbursed for the headphones but I have never heard back or had my subsequent emails returned... this was over a year ago!
Wasted our time by telling us there's no smart cars available to test drive or buy. Test drive and bought one somewhere else.
