Highly recommend Small Talk Boston! We had the best experience with Caroline for our initial assessment, and then Natalie for weekly speech. As our first point of contact, Caroline made the introductory process a breeze. Her support and non judgement helped us to not feel worried about our son, and you could tell she really cared and understood the demands and pressures of parenting and wanting the best for your kids. Caroline is the best speech therapist and we are SO lucky we found her for our 6 year old son. We worked with Caroline weekly for a year and our 6 year old met all of his speech goals and caught up with his speech development. Quinn would look forward to meeting with Caroline every week and had so much fun playing his speech games. Caroline has been such a gift to our family! She goes beyond the traditional speech therapist and truly got to know our whole child. Through pivotal years when our daughter crossed from child to tween Caroline was able to "read the room" and meet her where she was and connect. We saw great progress and our only sadness of graduation from speech was how much we will miss seeing Caroline each week.
I highly recommend Caroline, especially with a child with childhood apraxia of speech! She was a fantastic support to me and my son. She’s highly knowledgeable, neurodiversity-affirming, and just an all around wonderful human. Many parents may feel very stressed with the seemingly endless therapy appointments, but Caroline’s sessions were always enjoyable.
We had a wonderful experience with Small Talk this past summer. My daughter had been receiving speech services through her school and we didn't want her to lose momentum over the summer, so we reached out to Caroline and are so glad we did!
