Nope. So much nope. Needed a new battery for a MacBook Air. They wanted $100 just to have a look and decide if I was right. Then parts (estimated at $150), then labor at like $95 an hour. But they wouldn't estimate a total price, but it sounded like $350-400-ish. Maybe. Might be more. Plus they'd need my machine for 3-7 days. I went to Computers For Change. It was $152 total. It took them 20 minutes.
Great selection of products that has saved my butt more than once.
The last place to take a computer. Twice I've been there and twice I've been charged exorbitant rates. Know three other folks who have had the same experience. Local repairman seem far faster, better and cheaper like Baha computer works where I've taken my Mac for years now.
Brought in my laptop in for a screen replacement under warranty. The process was handled professionally and smoothly.
Dropped my computer off on a Friday afternoon and it was ready the following Tuesday! Open, honest, and clear communication and wonderful customer service; I'm very pleased with my experience!
