In 1983/1984 this campus was 3 buildings and we "clients" were made to clear land during the day and did groups in the afternoon. I busted a guy in his face with a baseball bat because he disrespected girl. I was gonna go to juvvie...so I ran. I stayed free for 2 months and wound up going to Dozier School for Boys in Marianna. I was totured there. I find SMA just as cauplible as the staff at Dozier Edit: I forgot at the time I was at SMA it was known as Stewart Residential Drug Treatment Program

Our son was court ordered to SMA for detox (Assessment and Stabilization). Because of their profound ignorance regarding a implanted medical device that does not require routine care or maintenance, they refused to treat him. When I argued it was mandatory per a court order the therapist lied and said the judge had not ordered detox and could not order medical care. I think as a detox center they should be able to tell you if they have a opening to take somebody in over the phone. I have been dealing with getting my sister into a place for a long time. It took her years to finally say "I I have a problem, I want help". But there was no place to take her and when we tried here they said you will have to drive here to find out if there's a bed available. We are low on money and can't afford to drive 2 hours round trip just to be told yes or no. I believe if this place truly wanted to help... read more

Angela needs too have her license stripped or go back too college!! She has not the slightest clue when she's being manipulated by a teenager too get their way!! Please if you have too bring your child here request any other therapist than her!!! She's more worried about losing her license than addressing what's really going on and makes family matters 10 times worse!! Avoid her at all costs!!!
