I contacted BGE to inquire about the energy audit program and was put in touch with Bob at SM Mechanical. I cannot recommend them enough. Bob and his team were very knowledgeable, thorough, and trustworthy. Everyone in the crew worked very hard and efficiently at our house to fix holes in our duct work, insulate our basement, and re-insulate the attic. Everything was on time and as described. SM Mechanical did a FANTASTIC job on our HVAC project! Sean, Brad, Bob, Stephen and Percel and Clayton were all very friendly, knowledgeable and made sure to get us the maximum rebate available thru MDs new rebate program. We were able to get 2 mini-splits, new hot water tank, insulated attic, and new HVAC system for a fraction of the cost with the rebates! This is the second time I have needed an electrician for and issue with our wiring and used SM Mechanical. Both times I was able to quickly get to a person when calling who was able to assist in scheduling an electrician to come out. Both times I was lucky enough to get Alex. When he showed up, he was so polite and respectful of our home. Great customer service and outstanding expertise! Fantastic and prompt service from SM Mechanical. I had an issue with my AC and Brad, Sean and Emily prioritized my service within hours of reaching out. Even more, Sean thoughtfully assessed the issue and instead of recommending a new unit he was able to fix an electrical issue and get us back up and running in 30 minutes. Thanks to the team!
