I guess I'm a purists. Having grown up in Brooklyn, 2nd gen Italian, we ate traditional pizza. I always got regular slices (what everyone else likes to call "cheese pizza") at Slyce. Today I got "Philly steak" and it was awful. That's all I have say.
The cheese pizza was very bland and not good. The Mediterranean salad was literally outstanding. Had to put the salad on the pizza to make up for lack of flavor. This may be a place specifically for unique pizza flavors only. Brownie was very good. Drinks were good and bartender provided excellent service!
Decent slices in FoCo, I was a little sad I couldn't get the monthly Crab Rangoon pizza on February 28th, that's still the month! Argh! But that's ok, my cheese slice was still delish, and they did have a huge variety of slices you could choose from. Nice college vibe inside, and staff was very friendly. Place was pretty clean too. You have a lot of pizza options in town, but Slyce is pretty yumtastic!
