Despite the not great reviews, I wanted to give this place a try, but the mediocre reviews proved to be true. As a ramen lover I was def disappointed and in the current state I don’t see this restaurant lasting. Plus, charging $2 to add spice to your ramen is inexcusable. Food is not great. I ordered tonkotsu with pork. The broth was salty but lacked depth. Chasu pork was thick but not tender, as it was supposed to be for ramen. Kitchen service was slow. The waitress missed one item for our order, but she was nice, apologized for it, and reduced our bill, which I appreciated. The vibe is pretty fun which is the only plus.
We order takeout often and always enjoy the veggie ramen (egg added for me)! The silken tofu is really nice in the ramen. We have also enjoyed the edamame dip, tofu skins, and rotating menu options like the fish sandwich. We also find the prices to be reasonable and on par with other casual dining establishments in the neighborhood.
The vegan ramen is fantastic!
