Much To-Do About Nothing Much To-Do About No Side-Table... I bought my couch, table and chairs from Slumberland and had good experiences with everything, so when I needed a side table, I checked out their website, along with all their competitors. Delay and delay We ordered a bedroom set from Slumberland at the end of April. We were told that it would be available for pick up the end of June. The end of June, we called to get an exact day to go pick it up, and we were told that our order was delayed slightly, but that it was somewhat normal for an order to be delayed. Well, now here it is September, and supposedly we are supposed to finally get our bedroom set delivered this week. You can't tell me that 4 months of delays is normal for a furniture purchase. Discusted We waited a month for our furniture to arrive. After calling their headquarters, we found the local Lincoln store had not even ordered it yet.
A large selection, but unfortunately overpriced. We were the only customers in the place and absolutely no way they were dealing...even when I showed them the same furniture for much less. Very nice showroom and the saleperson only let us know she was available and did not hound us every step of the way.
I went to Slumberland to find a futon for my son and was disappointed by what I found. There were only 4 frames on display and the mattresses were uncomfortable to say the least. When I asked some questions I was met with a blank stare. Simple questions such as, "How is the mattress constructed", or, "What kind of warranty does it carry" resulted in the same answer: "Let me go look that up".
