1/28/2017 just received my kitchen table / chairs from Slumberland . Luis was the sales person at Slumberland East Madison, Wi .He worked with us very well and ordered the set and came in timely matter and well pleased and good delivery service.
I bought two coffee tables from them and they were both banged up and scratched. (Note: Do not assemble until you check everything for scratches.) One table had to be replaced twice and the other one had to be replaced three times. The management seemed indifferent and blamed the warehouse workers. My couch and love seat are falling apart after a year and they were extremely overpriced. Save yourself all of the time it will take to finally get it right.
Great deal and great customer service! They were able to price match and so with the friendly staff we chose to purchase here.
Do not buy from this store. We bought a mattress and now our house has bed bugs in it. They all radiate from that mattress and the room its in but they say we can't "prove" it so the only thing they will help with is the next exterminator treatment. A whole $175 or so. For months we didn't know what we were being bit by and finally saw some months later. in August of 2014, my husband and I purchased two wing back recliners, from the O'Fallon, Missouri store. We had these chairs approximately, 4 months, and the wings came loose from the chairs, splittered pieces of pine wood was showing. I, contacted them and they sent a service person to repair the chair. He did, what I thought, was a pretty good job. But, once again the chairs broke. Do not buy anything from these people. They were soooo accommodating when we bought our new adjustable mattress. That was 2 weeks ago. What came to my door was obviously a floor model (I paid for new). There are marks and pulls all over the mattress and platform. I have called 3 times, the last a week ago. There is always someone that is going to call me back -- not so much. Beware,
Terrible customer service!! Had problems with my living room set twice. Wouldn't even come check it out couple years ago so I let it go. Now my reclining loveseat won't recline. Wish I would have gone to Fleet Farm and paid $800 instead of the $2500 at Slumberland.
My wife and I bought a king size sterns and foster bed. After a week both sides were sagging and there was a hump in the middle. Returned that and had the exact same problem with the second one. Went to go with a different brand. But they didn't want to exchange the box spring. That would be a different color this upset my wife and told them to just come get the bed. They still haven't refunded us yet. It been more than 2 weeks. I suggest to go elsewhere.
We recently purchased an expensive couch from Slumberland furniture.Less than 5 months later we were told that the automatic recliners on it had started 2 fires that they know of so far and needed to be disconnected. Since their researchers didn't have a solution for this yet I called to see if we could get our couch replaced for a manual version of the same product. The answer was a firm no.
