After my old mechanic retired the search was on for someone who knew old cars, was honest , and no BS. I found SLS by accident while getting my wife’s car smogged and saw a bunch of old hot rods near the shop, and I’m glad I stopped in. Shane is a class act and his guys know their stuff. Had a basic tune up do and upgraded to disc brakes upfront, lowering kit and front sway bar on my 66’ C-10. He was reasonably price and turned it around pretty quick, and fast to respond. I highly recommend him and his whole crew!

Shane's the man! Did a complete engine rebuild, front and rear bushing replacement on my '59 Chevy Apache and other little things to keep it safe and running smoooooth! My truck has NEVER run so great. I trust Shane, he's professional, friendly - always fun to talk with AND HE KNOWS CLASSICS!!!

Shane took the time after me telling him what wasn't working well to explain what he would be looking for to fix the problem. He was also very accessible during his diagnostic testing and throughout the whole process until getting the issues resolved. My small block chevy engine is running better than it ever has in the 19 years I have owned my Corvette. I would highly recommend Shane and SLS to be your go to care taker of your prized classic.

I've been grateful for all Shane has done for me over the years. My 55 GMC has presented several challenges, and Shane handled them all with a calm professionalism, in a timely manner. He pulled my failed engine and transmission and installed a new crate motor and all that goes along with it. He's done brakes, body bushings, and a full re-wiring job with fuse panel. If you own an old car, you come to appreciate thorough, knowegeable service.
