Shane took the time after me telling him what wasn't working well to explain what he would be looking for to fix the problem. He was also very accessible during his diagnostic testing and throughout the whole process until getting the issues resolved. My small block chevy engine is running better than it ever has in the 19 years I have owned my Corvette. I would highly recommend Shane and SLS to be your go to care taker of your prized classic.
I've been grateful for all Shane has done for me over the years. My 55 GMC has presented several challenges, and Shane handled them all with a calm professionalism, in a timely manner. He pulled my failed engine and transmission and installed a new crate motor and all that goes along with it. He's done brakes, body bushings, and a full re-wiring job with fuse panel. If you own an old car, you come to appreciate thorough, knowegeable service.
Took my 1950 Ford Coupe to Shane for a no start issue. He figured it out in a few days and it didn’t break the bank. Can’t recommend him enough. Thanks again man!
Shane has worked on a couple of my cars, including doing an LS swap with transmission and rear end rebuild in my 63 Cadillac. Having been an active automotive hobbiest for more than 50 years, I've not found a more knowledgeable, detail oriented or conscientious mechanic. He's able to help visualize a project and bring it to completion. I will certainly continue to bring my classic cars to SLS.
