The food is consistent and tasty, the service is quick and friendly. We always enjoy stopping here on our way across McClure pass.
This was fun - make the trip to Marble, the smoked turkey, sausage and pulled pork were outstanding. Brisket was fork tender and the sides are very good!
One of the best BBQ/Smokehouses in all of Colorado, they're only open from May to October, then they close for the season. They are in the heart of the Elk Mountains at 7,960 ft in elevation. It's about a 40 min drive from Glenwood Springs. The smoked chicken is absolutely phenomenal. Crispy skin, the rub is to die for, the chicken is moist and incredibly tender.
