I have been a customer up slomins for over 30 years.I called them today to schedule my oil burner to be serviced.They told me I'm calling late and there's nothing open till April of 2027. They told me that they are 9 months booked out.Is anybody working at sloman's anymore. Last winter I had an issue I called for service since I had no heat and they told me it'll be four days before they can come to my house. What's happening to the service with Slomins. Is anyone else having this problem with service with Slomins.
When I purchased my home five years ago the previous owner stated they had a service contract with Slomins to maintain the heating and hot water burners. Heating burner had a Slomins sticker on it. Within a few months of home ownership, we noticed what smelled like exhaust gases in the basement to the point we were feeling lightheaded when going down there. Just ended my 13 year contract with them. Definitely not the same company I sign up with in 2013, especially customer service. I am still waiting on a Supervisor to contact me after failing to deliver oil causing my oil pump to break. Very unfortunate.
I am very concerned. I have a contract for oil deliveries for the past 4 years. I was running low 3 weeks ago and called for a delivery. Spoke to someone overseas who said they would get it scheduled. Have called four times since and still nothing. I am now out of oil taking cold showers for 4 days and still nothing. Please call me to deliver
Purchased and had installed Central Air in April '25. Four months later, in late August, we received a phone call from an inspector asking for the permit number so she could set up our inspection. To my surprise, there was no permit. I called the town, and evidently, Slomin's paperwork had been rejected, because of issues with the plumber's paperwork .
