I'm writing this review as I am still waiting to go into radiology. I arrived at 8:30 and checked in with the receptionist to advise them I need an X-ray done. She handed me back my doctor's slip and told me to give it to the receptionists at the x-ray desk. I did that, nice lady at the desk said "someone will get you shortly" It's not 9:42 and I had to approach the desk after watching the waiting room turn all their patients twice over. They don't accept MVP.
You can imagine my disappointment when we arrived for my partners 6:30am MRI to find an empty office. The entire building was empty and not a single person available to tell us why he wasn’t being seen. There has been multiple times I’ve been disappointed with my care at Slocum. This was an MRI for a necessary surgery he needs immediately, so hopefully when they open at 8 someone answers the phone and reschedules him today.
Great experience, quick check in and the staff is wonderful. My imaging tech, Kristy, was excellent, made me feel comfortable, she’s fantastic at her profession! Thank you!
I had my first experience at this facility yesterday getting a CT scan with infusion the staff there was top-notch, so nice and very thorough explaining everything they were doing very refreshing!
