After making a lab appointment 2 weeks in advance. Showed up early for my appointment. checked in by front desk staff. Sitting in the waiting room when the lab nurse came out and basically made a huge scene about being over booked. Made everyone feel uncomfortable. Handled the situation very unprofessional. It’s not patients fault your having a bad day so let’s now treat people so rudely for simply showing up to there scheduled appointments. I was in the area for work and had to go to emergency for a pregnancy concern as all the clinics around were full. The staff were all helpful and kind and didn't make me feel unwelcome once. Very prompt to answer questions and concerns. Thankful there is such a good facility in the area.
This facility is top notch. Certainly location wise they may see fewer patients over all, but the significance of having this center available for travelers and locals especially in peak season is crucial considering the amount of accidents that can arise in the region. When surprise issues arise it becomes desperately essential to have this facility operational. It also compliments the RCMP station there.
