Really impressed with this store and with an employee named Cameron, who was extremely knowledgeable and patient with an amateur gardener. He made my shopping experience educational and enjoyable. Thank you!
Its not often I come back to change a rating. My first experience was great. And then it all went downhill. I wanted this place to be good because its a local business. But I shouldn't have given them as much slack as I did or the chance to get better. Between the fact that I can purchase literally everything here somewhere else, the inappropriate comments regarding theft and scheduling, and the sexually inappropriate comments from a manager to a subordinate, please shop anywhere else.
Terrible experience with customer service, was treated extremely poorly today when pointing out a flaw on an indoor plant I was trying to purchase. I shop here frequently, as Novato only has a few options to choose from when it comes to plants. Today was pretty busy, and there were two workers on cashier duty. I was going to purchase two carnivorous plants that had definitely seen better days. They obviously hadn't been watered in quite a while as they had completely dry, hydrophobic soil with dead leaves all around the base... read more
