This is my first critical Google review and I have written lots of positive reviews. I guess you can have a bad experience, we all have bad days. I expect some days are not so great for good reason- this is the 4th visit in a row now where the $350-$489 cost does not match the experience. I guess you can have a bad experience, we all have bad days. The last 4 appointments with someone who has been awesome to this date, has now not been so great appointments to the point of not even showing my hair cut at the end or even taking me to the point of sale to book in my next hair appointment - $400 + Thats a bad day for me and a bad day for the future of the business. After three attempts to like this salon I won’t be going back. Really disappointed with the service and lack of care shown to clients, particularly new ones. I booked in for a haircut and colour and specifically requested an art director. I turned up on the day and to my surprise the hair stylist I had booked was doing someone else’s hair and I was given a junior stylist. Brilliant atmosphere and hairdressers. I got a shag hair cut by Sophie and she was so accomodating the whole time, and made it the best hair dressing experience and cut that I have ever gotten. I came out to sloans from marrickville using public transport, and I am keen on returning again. I highly recommend their services.
I have been having my hair cut at Sloans, on and off, since they first opened in Lane Cove. The fact that they keep their staff for years, speaks volumes about Scott and Kate. The service and skill of all their staff is second to none and I have always felt very valued by the amazing front desk staff... even when I've been missing in action for a bit, I always feel welcomed back.
