First time at Ocean Isle and renting from Sloane Reality. I had several questions and had to call for a few things. Everyone I dealt with was wonderful and helpful. We rented a beautiful house and are very appreciative of the owners to allow renters to their home. We will work with Sloane again.
Don’t book a rental from Sloane expecting the deposit refund policy to actually work! We had to cancel a reservation (over 6 months in advance) and never received any of our deposit back. When we investigated, we found out that Sloane had conveniently relisted the rental at the original price minus the deposit amount we had paid. It was of course booked again (for a busy 4th of July week) 6 months in advance. But because it was booked for less than we booked it, we were due no refund. Thanks to Shaina I can make my salsa and hummus now. We bought all the groceries then we tried to use the house blender, and it was broken. She showed up about 2 hours later with a new blender! I was so relieved. Thank you so very much for taking care of us!
We’ve been renting vacation homes at Ocean Isle Beach for many years, and Sloane Realty has always been outstanding. Most recently, they went above and beyond to help us secure the home we love, which meant so much to our family. Their team is professional, responsive, and makes the entire process smooth and stress-free. We’ve found working directly with them to be far easier and more trustworthy than using third-party booking platforms. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a seamless vacation rental experience!
We had a great extended stay at an oceanfront rental from Sloane Realty Vacations. The location was perfect, with direct easy access to the beach. The views included opening our eyes to a sunrise each morning, watching dolphins and fishing boats from the deck, and believe it or not, deer in the backyard on a regular basis.
