After 2 months of using the slingshot I had pain at every moment. Its also double the weight of a traditional carbon socket and bottome heavy. My limb pistoned in it since day 1. Its advertised as being affordable as well but it cost more than any traditional socket. They charged me $16,000 out of pocket for thos piece of junk and now refuse to give me my money back. I spoke with Jay the owner directly and he refuses to work with me on getting a refund. I could never walk in it and ive only had it 60 days and only used it fo... read more

I was 42 days post BK operation. Im from San Antonio TX. When my accident happened I didnt have insurance, to make matters worse everyone in San Antonio like BAMC medical center and other prosthetic professionals made me feel like if they couldnt charge me 100k for old tech, then I could just be thrown on the back burner. So I started doing research and found slingshot. I called Slingshot and was immediately contacted by Debby. Debby made me feel amazing, she then got me in contact with Jay. These people care about their wor... read more

I finally got to a point where I thought there HAD to be a better option than these heavy rigid buckets. Kids are constantly growing, so why are we putting their limbs into something that d... read more

I could not recommend Slingshot more. .The sockets are revolutionary, but the team is even better! I took my 4 yo bilateral BKA in for her second set of sockets. The first pair, we just didn't have a ton of luck with. They were constantly not fitting correctly and we had to stack socks on socks to get them to fit. By that point, she can't walk right because she can't bend her knee. The Slingshot seemed like a reasonable thing to try. We went to OKC, spent two days in clinic and by the end, we had a completely custom set of s... read more
