Highly disappointed in this visit to slim chickens. It was only 9:20pm and I waited in the drive thru line for my order to be taken only for me to be ignored and had 3 other cars orders taken before mines. Then I was informed that they were only doing grilled chicken and nothing fried. My first time coming to this location and receiving poor service.

When we visit family in North Carolina it's a chance for us to try new places to eat close by. Slim Chickens is one of those places, even our kids hadn't tried this restaurant yet, being new to the area. Have to say that with "chicken shacks" on nearly every corner in North Carolina this place was a great change from the "big box" chicken stores, lol. We have tried most of them but from now on it will be Slim Chickens for us. Food was tasty & hot, sweet tea, especially the Raspberry blend was great, and we even had a complim... read more
