This music store is not the friendliest. They can be rude. My visit to purchase a guitar for my son was bad. They also need a descent repair department. Ive heard similar comments from others whove tried to shop there. Sorry guys you just dont cut it! There is another music store on Robert Blvd. My experience with them was excellent in sales and service Try Christy Music!
The owner overcharged me \$10 on purpose and mislead me to believe that it was what the total came to with tax. Very unprofessional and shady business. Do not trust them, I will never set foot in The Slidell Music Company again. To the owner I would like to say was this review worth \$10 to you?
I regularly use both music stores in Slidell, and most of the time get good service from both. Although Im sorry for the circumstances (relocation of the store from down south due to Katrina), Im glad to have SMC in the area. Their prices are fair, and usually they are quite helpful. AND, they are open until 7pm!
The owner of this store tells you what you want to hear in order to purchase an instrument then does not stand behind his word. Our instrument broke 2 days later and was told SOL, no returns. Ill keep my business at Christies.
