You gotta wonder how a hospital would get such negative reviews, until you go there.
Great experience in a difficult moment. Jolene was our nurse and she made mom’s short stay bearable. My mom suffers with panic attacks after experiencing 3 strokes. Jolene was an angel in balancing what needed to be done and what my mom wanted at any given time. Thank you to the doctors and Tracie our day nurse who expedited our discharge. It’s great to be home, but Slidell ER was a safe place for mom during her emergency.
Usually very nice staff nurses and doctors. Always clean. Wait times vary depending on when you go in. Young girl who worked at front desk tonight was very rude and unprofessional. I was in severe pain and she dismissed me after I waited 30 minutes in severe pain. I left and went to Ochsner ER and they took care of me right away. Anyways the rest of the people who work here are very caring.
