Usually very nice staff nurses and doctors. Always clean. Wait times vary depending on when you go in. Young girl who worked at front desk tonight was very rude and unprofessional. I was in severe pain and she dismissed me after I waited 30 minutes in severe pain. I left and went to Ochsner ER and they took care of me right away. Anyways the rest of the people who work here are very caring.
The front desk was very kind as well as the security guard. My daughter had croup & her care team was AMAZING!!!! Her Nurse, Dawn was more than helpful, kind, & just overall such a gem. She made sure to go above & beyond. Honestly the best nurse I have ever encountered. Dr. Sung was so kind & offered so much good health advice. He was very gentle with my 15 month old & patient I appreciated this so much. The staff was pretty nice but I waited 5 hours just for discharge papers and I only came in for something simple and I didn’t like that they would take you out the room just to have you sitting in the hallway for a long of a time it ridiculous either they need more staff or they need to finish with that one patient and it was at least 10 of us waiting still needed to be discharged! Smh- shake my head yall need to do better
With the exception of a few nurses, the staff seemed to lack knowledge, professionalism, compassion, the list goes on. Though I was admitted to a room fairly quickly, I spent quite some time waiting to be seen by the doctor. The doctor was very dismissive of my pain (noting that he has seen people with far worse pain than mine) and did not take the time to explain everything as I needed him to.
