We decided to do the slickrock practice loop instead of the entire trail so we could prioritize some different terrain. It was a good trail, some fun flowy sections and some steep punchy climbs but repetitive compared to some other trails we rode. Still worth the practice loop effort to experience part of this iconic trail
A must ride if you're in the area. It's a unique experience. Be warned the trail is punchy and you'll burn through 2 bottles in the summer even starting at dawn
Very tough. We had a group where I rented a mountain bike and 2 people had e bikes. One e bike wasn't made for this, but still did great. It took us 3 hours.
