I had rameena my first time and she was amazing my hair came out great but when I came for a second cut she couldn’t make it and I had to go to Malik which was a huge mistake. He cut all of my hair off on the sides and didn’t know how to do the design I wanted but still proceeded to try and failed horribly. He also didn’t put rods in my hair when I told him that was specifically what I wanted and instead put twist in them. Wont be going back since I believe rameena left anyway.

Came to Slek Styling Bar with my two daughters for a 5pm appointment and was never acknowledged. It’s so sad that a black owned business lack customer service and time management . I’ve never see stylists so disrespectful in my life . At 6:15 pm I was still there waiting to get my daughter hair done. I decided to walk out. The male stylist that identifies with pronouns she/her disrespectfully said “okay bye” , “happy holidays, sike”! Is this how a black-owned salon treat their customers? I ask for a trim of the ends she cut way too much. I will never come again. It’s sad when you want to go to a natural salon and they just take advantage. I regret coming here. Horrible
