I’ve been disturbing my partner for a long time now, snoring, which disturbs me being woken up to stop. Tried many mouth guards that you boil and mold to your mouth. The whole idea of sleep apnoea is daunting to say the least so when my Gp said I could do a home sleep study that was the first positive, it was a pretty easy process, followed up by streamlined and professional consultations to be fitted with a dental splint which was for me a lot less confronting than traditional CPAP equipment (which I tried first), I always felt really informed at each consult and felt no pressure to go ahead with anything ( it’s an expensive outlay similar to cpap ) and was given the time to think about... read more
