They sell the third party base which their neither support nor customer support help with from the day you purchase it. They have nothing to do with the base once they sell. It’s non refundable. Once you realize that your sleep number mattress is a mere waste you will be stuck with a base that neither work with sleep number mattress or any other mattress even though they claim it does. It’s rip off of your money. Buy better functionality mattress in Costco for half the price
As someone who has a lot of back issues, I have worked with multiple mattress companies on buying and returning beds. Without a doubt, Sleep Number is the most unaccommodating. We had numerous issues with them and they constantly nickel and dime you. I would not recommend them to anybody who cares about trying out their bed before committing to the thousands of dollars that they charge.
