A few weeks ago I left a fairly harsh review of this hotel. Today I have come back to amend it. And give a more fair rating. What I had written was factually true. However ~ I was in a fairly emotionally rough spot, and focused that at the hotel. The staff at the hotel are kind and service focused. Over all the hotel is clean. There was a minor problem with my room, but not as bad as I made it out to be. I will return to the hotel, and give much more fair review. I wish to apologize to the owners. There is mold growing in the bathroom. I travel to the Des Moines area one a month or so. This time I was here for 5 nights. I am a Choice member. Between that and my 5 nights here it is advertised that I can have a late check out. I was told today that I could not have one in the morning because not enough people are checking out tomorrow. Makes no sense. I was also told that I could wake early and go to the counter in the morning and ask for late check out for a fee.
