I saw nurse practitioner Kami for chest pain that has gone on for about ten weeks, following COVID and a pleurisy diagnosis. The pain moves around my lungs, shifts into my back, and makes breathing and talking hard. It was the entire reason for my visit. She told me the pain was my liver and suggested I go back to my primary care doctor. She did not examine me, did not palpate the area, and did not order any testing.
