We took our f250 here to get an interlock system put in and in the process they broke the main brake booster and tried to Caulk it back together and not mention anything to us when we came to pick the truck up. My husband then was hauling his work trailer And lost all brakes. He then looked and saw what they did. Terrible place to get an inspection!! Jim failed my vehicle for a few things he claimed it needed, then offered to buy the car since it would be expensive to fix. I took it to another place and it passed without needing any of the items Jim at 286 auto said it needed. 6k miles later it’s going strong no issues. Definitely go somewhere else!
I took my vehicle to 286 auto LLC for an enhanced inspection, after telling me it needed a bunch of items I told Jim at 286 auto to stop the inspection and take the car outside and that I would come get it. Jim then offered to buy the car from me and said if I didn’t fix the car using his recommendations I was committing insurance fraud.
