A lot of the nurses are rude and aren’t super helpful and treat people inhuman one nurse I have seen past few days has been rude and treated my grandmother like she is a chore rather than a human they also have not followed her diet orders. do not go into nursing if you don’t like helping people or can’t follow instructions slave lake hospital is notorious for having bad staff
Stay away. This place is bad the moment you walk in. I have never seen a hospital that dirty before. Then wait 6 hours to not even be seen by a doctor yet. (I get it any place can be this way) but didn’t even see a doctor in site with every room full waiting to be seen by doctor. Don’t waste your time here . This place shouldn’t even be running the staff don’t even seem to care they sit there and laugh and joke around and even heard the one worker swearing.

Carr and Bassioni are the worst doctors I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Carr treated me like I was a complete idiot because I’m a new mom. I was embarrassed and upset when I left the ER with my daughter who had an ear infection. She and bassioni didn’t bother to do a swab so my daughter was given unnecessary antibiotics twice.
