We built our home with Slattery (our second home) in 2014 and moved in May 2015. I opted to write a review after 10 years in the home to get a good measure of the home’s quality and Slattery’s response to any issues that came up over the decade. First time viewing a few homes in Fw,IN Seemed like a lot of wasted space and not very thought out floor plans. Definitely room for improvement and design changes. The quality seemed subpar as well. I'd have to make some adjustments to the space but homes were spacious.
Just wanted to say what a class act Troy Slattery is. Troy worked very hard on our project. Due to the unique situation our family has, we decided to go a different route than building. We saw the great materials Troy uses, saw his great custom designs, and appreciated his guidance. We wouldn't have hesitated a moment in using Slattery Builders and suggest them to anyone looking to build a beautiful home.
Slattery builders finished our home a couple of months ago. We started the process in the middle of the supply chain debacle. Troy and Abby did their best to get the supplies needed and build a house we are extremely proud of. They do excellent work and if we were to build again we would not hesitate to use them. They are great people who care about their customers and provide a level of service not found in other builders.
Wife and I were very pleased with our initial meeting. Troy took the time to listen and look at our ideas carefully and sincerely. It was very pleasant to not have stock plans shown to us with discussions about how things could be "customized" to meet our needs. Finally a custom builder that understands custom! The design space and office was also very welcoming with many decorative items available for purchase. If your looking to build a truly custom home, we highly recommend you consider Slattery Builders in your search!
