Coming from someone who regularly purchases machinery at auction, these guys have no idea. I recently made some bids on an engineering business closure. the items do not clearly state if they have a reserve price, other auctioneers do for clarity. I made the winning bid on 2 large engineering machines / items and won bids on many smaller items, I was then contacted the following day informed by auctioneer Matt, that i did not meet reserve price, The reserve prices where absolutely ridiculous.... around 6 x what the winning b... read more
