I had a tire blow out on me on Interstate 95 South on Sunday. Upon contacting AAA, Mr. Walter Slater came to tow my vehicle and we went to his shop. His son-in-Law Kevin was there waiting. Kevin promptly changed my tire on a rainy Sunday and I was soon on my way to my final destination. It is impossible to say how I felt upon getting home except thankful for their willingness to help. THIS PLACES DOESNT EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR!! They SUCK!!!!! My wife broke down and AAA sent Slater towing. They were supposed to tow to Florence in the morning. Instead they took it upon themselves to do a $65 diagnostic check that was not authorized. After being told it only needed a battery so we said to fix it. The bill came out to $398!!!!! The battery alone was $163.10!!!!! After them trying to charge us twice for diagnostics we ended up paying $313 for a battery change!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! Horrible!!!!!!
These guys are awesome! We broke down on I 20 on the way home from vacation. With the help from Lamar auto parts (Napa) and the great guys at Slaters they got us fixed up and on our way. Thank you for everything!
