Love working with the team over at Slate!
Slate built a duplex for me in Northwest Charlotte. I went through three men who were my point person over two years as they would quit the company. Brent Zande, the owner, was often very belittling to me as a female owner of the property. He made me feel awful and would respond to me with short, curt answers, often making me feel stupid. There were many problems with the HVAC and grading of the property costing me over $20,000 after the project was complete. Really blown away by their excellent service and quality of work! Not once did I ever have to wonder where we stood on the property renovation. Updates were regular and thorough, and decisions always made on an efficient basis. As an investor, it was incredibly important to stay on budget, and they did just that, without sacrificing quality and efficiency. Looking forward to using this group more!
