We visited Slap and Pickle on Saturday evening after hearing great things about it, we had a little trouble finding the place initially as Googling “Slap and Pickle York” doesn’t bring up the York location, the Leeds branch at “The Wardrobe” (which is temporarily closed) appears instead as the main headline/google ad, but it was well worth the effort finding it. Popped in for lunch before a matin�e performance at the Playhouse. Food was lovely - special shout out for the fries. I'm going to be thinking about those for a while!
Great atmosphere, good prices and food was really good. Party of 3 and we were all in agreement. Was busy on a saturday but definitely worth a go. Would definitely come again!
ordered off uber eats and tasted amazing, the cheesy chips were so good and the burgers were unreal
2 burgers ordered for takeaway with 2 portions of chips. The burgers were nothing like the photos on google, and were tasteless. The chicken burger especially was really disappointing and lacked any flavour. There was also hair in the chips. We won’t be ordering from here again
