STAY FAR AWAY….Slaneys replaced an alternator for us and inspected our van before we drove to Hershey, PA with our 3 kids….our car broke down there with our kids in the car and it was because of the alternator…we had it towed to a shop there to look at and they told us it was because the alternator was completely installed wrong…most of it was not even bolted down and bolts were missing…terrible work…the shop we took it too wrote us up a report stating straight negligence…he put my family in danger and I would not recommend ... read more
I have known Ron since 1970 . 55 years ! I worked for him at the following: car wash on Banksville Rd, and Mobile Station on Fort Couch Rd at South Hills Village. At the beginning of my career at a young age, Ron and I had a very good professional relationship which later evolved into a great and honest friendship. Ron is a quality auto mechanic who is very knowledgeable in this field. With his mentorship and guidance, I became a successful aircraft mechanic.
Passable work but bad pricing horrible punctuality. Better mechanics locally cheaper and faster. If you want to pay triple industry average for sub par this is the place to go. Wouldn't trust for more than brakes and rotors
Been using them for years, they're great, I wouldn't go anywhere else
