Worst of the worst!! We had to file a lawsuit. William Slade cost us $50,000 in over-tax charges because of sheer neglect and MISFILING. He also used FALSE information rather than information supplied by me and my bookkeeper. Now we have back tax fees to boot. We had to pay another $2000 to have our taxes amended by an excellent CPA, and we will get our tax return back eventually but it may take another year. Worst of the worst. This is my edit. Linda never responds because she makes up excuses all the time. She’s the worst and so are her assistance. wow should I add the fact that she cost me close to $1000 more due to her inability to do her job? She sucks so bad. She won’t even send me a copy of my tax return. Yet again she will not answer just so I can get my SDI never go there.
Definitely DO NOT Recommend: I filed a complaint with the CA Board of Accountancy against Slade & Company because the negligence with which they handled my account (specifically my amended federal 2019 tax return), cost me $7,435.00 + interest. I hired William Slade because he was recommended to me by friends when I was in search of a tax professional.
