I had my Generac generator installed and serviced by Mountain power electric for 13 years. 18 months ago I upgraded to a 24 kw generator and the the yearly maintenance was excellent. That was until they were bought out recently by Skyview Energy and I needed a new propane line installed. I called Skyview Energy twice and the help I got was zero. Friendly prompt delivery. I called them to fill our tank and they delivered the next day!
I have been a regular customer of Skyview Energy for several years and have always received prompt and courteous service. But on Thanksgiving Day when my 25+ year old oil tank decided to leak I was distressed to say the least. I had out of town guests and had them call Skyview for me while I did what I could to lesson/patch the leak. I am very disappointed with this company. We had a kerosene monitor that needed to be moved. A gentleman came out and moved it to a new location. It was leaking kerosene. The man came out to repair. To our knowledge it was fixed. (Summer) Cold weather arrived. The monitor doesn’t leak in the pan but smells like kerosene when it’s turned on. My husband contacted the company. I recently had come to find my kerosene heater was out of fuel around 3pm, and with the lows for the night 23F, panic surely set in. I called Skyview and talked to the lady and asked how much it would cost me to have them out last minute to fill up the tank. To my delight, she said someone will be on their way in the next few minutes! When the technician showed up, he was very professional and very easy to work with.
